About Qasasic
Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh.
Welcome to Qasasic, a website created for anyone who enjoys reading Islamic stories and reflecting on the lessons they carry.
The word Qasasic comes from the Arabic word Qasas (قصص), which means stories or narratives. Stories have always been an important way of learning in Islam. The Quran itself contains many stories about the Prophets, earlier nations, righteous people, and important events, with lessons for those who reflect.
At Qasasic, our goal is simple: to make Islamic stories easy to read, understand, and reflect upon.
What You Will Find on Qasasic
Qasasic focuses mainly on Islamic stories from reliable Islamic sources. You may find stories about:
The Prophets and Messengers
Stories mentioned in the Quran
The life of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ
The Companions
Righteous people and important figures in Islamic history
Significant events from Islamic history
Islamic stories for children
Lessons and reflections from Islamic stories
Alongside the stories, the Blog section covers related topics that can help readers understand the background, meaning, and lessons behind different Islamic stories.
Why We Created Qasasic
Islamic stories are not simply stories from the past. Many of them teach us about patience, faith, repentance, courage, forgiveness, gratitude, trust in Allah, and perseverance.
The story of Prophet Yusuf (AS), for example, reminds us about patience during hardship and the importance of forgiveness. The story of Prophet Musa (AS) teaches us about courage and trusting Allah during difficult moments. The Seerah of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ gives us countless examples of mercy, patience, leadership, and excellent character.
We created Qasasic to bring these stories together in a way that is simple and enjoyable to read while encouraging readers to look beyond the story and think about its lessons.
Our Approach to Islamic Stories
We understand that accuracy matters when writing about Islam.
We try to base our content on the Quran, authentic Hadith, and reliable Islamic sources. When a story contains details that are not clearly established in primary sources, we aim to distinguish those details rather than present them as certain facts.
Some popular Islamic stories are shared widely online with additional details that may not have a strong source. For that reason, readers should always distinguish between what is clearly established and what is commonly narrated.
We also encourage readers to verify important religious information with qualified scholars and reliable Islamic sources.
A Note About Our Content
Qasasic is an educational website focused on sharing Islamic stories and related reflections. It is not intended to replace qualified Islamic scholarship or formal religious study.
Our content may sometimes simplify a long historical account to make it easier to read. When that happens, our intention is to preserve the main meaning without presenting a simplified version as a complete scholarly treatment of the subject.
If you notice an error, missing context, or a source that needs correction, we welcome your feedback.
Our Goal
Our goal is not simply to publish more stories.
We want Qasasic to become a place where readers can:
Read a story.
Understand its message.
Reflect on its lessons.
And apply those lessons to life.
Whether you are looking for a story from the Quran, learning about the Prophets, exploring the Seerah, reading about the Companions, or simply looking for an Islamic story with a meaningful lesson, we hope you find something beneficial here.
May Allah guide us to what is true, beneficial, and pleasing to Him.
JazakAllahu Khairan for visiting Qasasic.
